Women’s summer to fall fashion is in full effect for me as I am looking at my wardrobe. Why is being comfortable yet stylish so hard as a mom of little kids? I always feel like I’m either overdressed and way too fancy. I am looking like I haven’t showered in 3 weeks and may have a bird living in my bun or headed to a board room nearby. Why is the middle ground so tricky?! Am I alone?
Shanna Battle, a local RVA style blogger at Meandminnie.com, came to my rescue. She had a local segment on NBC 12 specifically for moms. My closet has the best summer to fall transition outfit that will be my new go to for school drop off, blogger meetings, play dates and more.
Having a classic jean jacket like this one from Talbot’s to throw on as the mornings of evenings get a little chillier is a hit! To throw on at the bus stop or around my waist for those fall mornings is so easy and comfortable. It can be dressed up or down. Changing out shoes from wedges/flats to booties or riding boots can help with the change from women’s summer to fall fashion.
