If you have a classroom Easter or spring party, group Easter event, neighborhood gathering, or just want to make something cute with or for your kiddos, this adorable Rice Krispie Birds Nest Recipe is a must try!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ Tablespoon Unsalted Butter
  • 2.5 Cups Miniature Marshmallows
  • 3 Cups Toasted Rice Cereal
  • Miniature Cupcake Pan
  • Cadbury Chocolate Eggs
  • Green Frosting

Yields 24 Mini Rice Krispie Cupcakes.

Directions:

Microwave butter in large microwaveable bowl on high for 45 seconds or until melted.

Stir marshmallows into the butter and microwave 45 seconds.

Stir marshmallow mixture with a spoon that has been sprayed with cooking spray and microwave for another 45 seconds or until marshmallows are melted.

Mix well.

Add Toasted Rice Cereal immediately and press into a mini cupcake pan with a spoon to make the “birds nest”.

Cool completely or place in the refrigerator.

Ice birds nests with green icing so that it looks like “grass”, and garnish with Cadbury chocolate eggs.
