Tis the season of children home from school and a never ending trail of hungry children to feed all day long. Instead of endless fruit snacks, candy, and chips try to exchange the processed foods for fresh and natural items that will leave those hungry hungry hippos full and energized for longer.
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1 cup of oats
- 1/4 cup of chocolate morsels
- 1/4 cup of almond butter
- 1/2 tsp of Vanilla Extract
Directions: Mix it up and roll into balls. Yeh, that’s it, crazy simple! No baking. I mean CMON people, it doesn’t get much easier than this!
To make this tasty treat even more toddler friendly make the balls into various sizes! We discussed small, medium, and large shapes and placed in order from biggest to smallest and vice versa. We also made a pattern as well! Fun way to add learning into a simple cooking to do!
